Medalla Real Gran Reserva was created in 1983 in honor of the Marques de Casa Real, Francisco Garcia Huidobro, who established Chiles first mint and is one of the ancestors of the family that founded Vina Santa Rita. To commemorate the bicentennial of this event, a special medallion was minted with his silhouette and the symbol of the Royal Spanish Crown. Our Medalla Real Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is from our certified sustainable estate vineyards in Maipo valley, one of the worlds fines wine regions. This beautiful wine has been aged for 14 months in French oak barrels and displays a deep ruby-red color. Its fragrant aroma evokes black fruits and cooking spices. On the palate the body is rich with ripe, smooth tannins.
