Rivalta is a wine made in tribute to Pedro Pavone-Voglino, father of Don Flix Pavone, founder of Santa Ema. Known for his pioneering instinct and abundant determination, Pedro Pavone Voglino left his home in Rivalta, Italy, sailing to the new world in 1917. When he arrived in Chile he settled in Isla de Maipo, falling in love with the landscape and the extraordinary characteristics ideal for viticulture. Aromas of ripe plum and spices are subtle on the nose of this Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend. Soft tannins frame meaty plum and cherry flavors and vibrant acidity balances it all out. Gentle oak flavors show in the aftertaste.
